Is that a cucumber in your pocket?

Parenting comes along with some pretty embarrassing moments. Why would I take those moments and share them with "the world"? I am not really quite sure. I guess because its funny, and because I want to be able to remember this later in life. Perhaps to tell my grand kids the stories.

So the other night my husband and I were laying across the bed, I was on my tummy where Tim figured he could place his hand down the back of my pants and fondle my buttox. This already arouse questions for Bailey. "Daddy are you feelin' mama's butt?" YEP daddy announced.

So watching TV I notice that my butt must have stirred up some emotions in "little Timmy" I kind of poked it. So then big Tim, feeling proud I suppose gyrated his hips around a bit, flaunting "little Timmy" off a bit (still covered and all that) I guess BIG Tim forgot that Bailey was still in the room... "Daddy, are you having a BONER?!"

That is life at home for now. On to work. Prices went up. New manager, new girl I was training. Notice I said WAS training. That is because her 3rd day she called in and today, what would have been 4th scheduled day... She was a no call no show. Lovely. Just more time wasted.

So far not too many complaints about the prices, but I did have customers come and tell me that they would no longer be eating with us, because our toppings had gotten "skimpy" I tried explaining that our new boss, actually makes us weigh everything according to the speck sheets, and those "skimpy" toppings are what the company says to put on a pizza. They said that had that always been the case they would have not come back after the first time... I say good riddence. I go out to eat, quite often but I would NEVER just complain about things like some people do at work.

So back to the drawing board as far as a new server, replacement for Alisa goes. I think her last week is next week... So we really need to get someone in, hired, and trained... Someone who will, hopefully stick around a week or so!

So that is life today. Its almost the weekend, and its almost summer break. EEK!

not everything i say requires a response.

first off let me say, my shift key is not working so nothing is uppercase today. so sorry.   the new chick at work is driving me...crazy. short drive i know but even so. like seriously. crazy. she argues with everything, butts into any conversation started without her in it, and denies anything being done wrong. she's new, making a mistake is going to happen. if you do it, fess up, and get on. your not in trouble. shut up. quit denying it just say ok, and get on with life. it does not always require a response. just do it. or don't do it, whatever fits in the time. then i have customers like the lady today. she and her friends all got their pizzas. when i walked by i stopped to check on the table. i noticed that the lady was asking her friend to sniff her slice of pizza, of which she had taken one bite of. i asked if everything was okay 'it tasted funny when i took a bite' she says 'here taste it," she tries to get her friends to taste it, one sniffs and ...

Salty.

Why is it when you do something wrong, people will point it out, over and over and notice every detail, but the things that you do right... They go unnoticed for ages?  Training at work this week has been tiring. I have been super busy so its hard to actually train someone... I have to get my tables taken care of. I have the kids just getting into the swing of things with school, and training myself to go to bed early has proven unsuccessful. I basically feel over worked and under slept. As I mentioned on facebook I think there are plenty of hours in the day... I need more hours at night, to work with....  Kids are all adjusting well to school life again. Still going to sleep easily at night, which I know wont last so I am enjoying it while I can. I cannot believe I have a child who is a sophomore this year. I am still not believing that actually.  Tomorrow is super busy, we have Dr visits, I have blood work done, Girl scout meeting to attend and then a split ...

some days

The kids are just cute. I know I normally talk about how bratty they are. but today, well today they were just cute. All of them, even Destiny. Believe it or not.  Hannah came down the little car line to get into the van and she was smiling and so happy, and so dang cute. Promise had a friend over part of the day Bailey played mario and Destiny told me my shirt looked like a hobo shirt (it was Tims)  Today was just a good day. not sure what made it that way. the kids mostly got a long, there were a few SHUTUPS tossed out but for the most part it was pretty peaceful. I wish more days, were like today.  I went to Lowe's today to get a shelf thing to put in our laundry room. Its so exciting! TO think a shelf would be nice here, and then think YEAH, I'll put one in. See we can do that, cus we OWN our house! :) Its awesome!  I got a few more seeds today. Sweet baby peppers, zucchini and squash too. Yum. I really hope something grows this year. I am SO sore f...
