The oddly normal life of Clorie

  Over the weekend, Destiny stayed with a friend. A friend who had NOT went to school Friday. Says it was because she "missed the bus" I was unaware that friend missed school until Destiny had already left and was at her house.  So anyway Saturday evening she called me to come and get her, her friend was now sick. After she got home her friend let her know she'd been to the doctor, and been told she has the flu. Oh GOODIE! So of course within moments Destiny feels sick. I feel its the power of suggestion, or the power of a Monday off school. So I ignore it to some extent.  So Sunday she's complaining of being tired, well she stayed up all night with her buddy! She also has a headache, but she wants to go to a BBQ at a friends (family friends) so we all go. She seemed okay there, a bit tired, but I figured that, was because of the headache.  Today she woke up and ate breakfast, got dressed, took her temp, and some ibup. for a headache, and I sent her off to schoo

 The kids were told yesterday that Monday was school picture day. So as they come up to me in the car line after school they are telling me about it, Bailey tosses his backpack in the van and exclaims " I am not having my picture taken." I told him, he "had" to have it done. It was for the year book. He argued with me for a little while then got into his seat and as he buckled up he said "Fine, but I am not dressing up, and looking all handsome and stuff." I told him that would be okay, he could just dress like normal, but he might still be handsome anyway...  Took the girls to Awana's and then took Destiny shopping for clothes. I can say one thing, the girl does now where to get a deal, and she is thrifty too! She gets that from her mama, I think. I have fun with her, when its just her and I together. She is a real person then, funny, cute un-irritating. I laughed, and we had fun, I wonder why it can' t be like that at home, she says she does

 I did. I quit today. Quit being a mom. Okay so it was only for 3 min. I think I might have made somewhat of a point though. I am TIRED of it. Constant arguing, the kids cannot, simply CAN NOT say anything nice to each other ever. Its just craziness. I've said it before, but I will say it again, I did not have siblings so this is new to me, this hatred you can have for someone you should love. Its nuts.  This afternoon stressed me out with a call from Destiny from school. She did not feel good, but I made her stay in school. The nurse said she did not have fever so she could stay, so I made her stay. Mean mom.  I had to stop by the "BOYSCOUT" store to get my boy his little outfit for his first pack meeting tonight! $80 dollars later, I have a shirt, hat, belt, hankerchief, and book to show for it. Heh. He better enjoy being a scout!  I stopped by wal-mart after that, to get a stove top grill/griddle and also the stuff to make a roast, so that I

Of meatballs! Great movie. Super cute. I highly suggest going to see it. With our without the kids :oP The place we went was only 4.00 but was not 3D I have never seen a 3D movie so you do not miss what you do not miss! It was cute, cute story line and nothing super sad like on "UP".  So obviously we went to the movies today. It was a full day. Cats went to the vet. One of our cats, has ear problems which might require surgery at some point... Not good. Another needs fixed next month, so hopefully the other does not also need surgery. EEEEEEEEEEEP. Just the apt. today was enough moolah! I feel bad that I did not realize his ear was hurting him. Bad cat mama I am :O(  After the movies we ate dinner. Musical Children  Today Bailey got a coffee can, and he put dried beans in it, and he taped it closed. This was his instrument. Hannah followed suit with a smaller, but just as effective cookie container, minus cookies of course. So they are in the living room banging and shaking the cans. "Thank you Ladies and Gentelmans" Hannah said at one point. "Hannah, follow the rythym I make" Said Bailey. So cute. Sometimes they are just so cute. Loud. Cute though, none the less.  I colored with Hannah this afternoon. I had promised her that I would. Coloring, now that is fun. It really is. I could color all day, but whenever I go to start, I can never think of anything TO color. Funny how that works.  I made 2 of my 4 dishes for my "food networkers" tonight.  If so that would explain things. The kids were hellions today. Well Destiny was gone until 5, but at 5 she made up for being gone by calling everyone names and telling Promise how bad her hair looked today. Nice. They just wore me down and let me say I have honestly never been so relieved to find its bedtime. It was just a rough day. Tomorrow is Monday and for that, I am thankful.  This week I am getting on track and staying on track. I have my routine planned out, I will NOT go back to bed after the kids leave. I will do some things around the house and I will work out. I will also return that darn DVD to the library and stop paying 1$ a day for it!!!  My dumb wisdom teeth are trying to grow in again, and I do NOT feel smarter because of it. It sucks. I need to get them yanked. I have the money, I should make the apt. but everyone knows that is just NOT a fun way to spend money!!! I don't wanna!  So that is it for my weekend. Monday is here in an hour and I am ready for it!

    This weekend my hope is to get the house all situated, cleaned organized and ready for the week. Plan my meals, prep them if possible so that I do not feel rushed moment when I realize OH the kids have Awana or OH the hamburger is still frozen....      In that routine I also want, no need, to add in a time, a set time to workout. I feel fat. Not fluffy. FAT. Yesterday I seen someone I had not seen in a while and although I she did not say it, I could see in her face that she noticed I had changed, not just the hair cut.... That I was FAT. :o/ It sucks. It seems like it goes SO slow to lose weight and I get unmotivated before I even start. I need to stop that. JUST DO IT. Right? Right!      So far today I got the kitchen done, and the dinning room. I changed where the table is, and I think I like it. Once I get the living room cleaned up and organize the books and such I will get laundry started and work on routines and a budget of sorts for this month. I need to start doing tha

 For some reason you just really do not want to go back to work! Or school!  This weekend turned out to be really nice. The kids had friends over Saturday. I was NOT a taxi all weekend long, the friends SLEPT IN on Sunday for me... Ahhhh.  We went to my Father and Mother in laws house for Labor Day on Sunday. I always love going there. The kids also enjoy it. Takes them at least a couple hours before they decide they are bored. We ate a nice dinner and then searched for crickets and worms and went fishing in the neighbors pond. We did not catch anything, which made Bailey mad (lol) but it was nice anyway. The kids got to ride in the BACK of the TRUCK! You would have thought we just took them to the fair! On the way back the dogs tried to beat us and the kids just hooted and hollered!!! It was great!  Destiny picked Bills brain about Democracy for this report she has to do. If she is a winner, she gets a WEEK LONG trip to DC! She has been working really really hard on this. I hope

 It was time to upgrade, and so I did. I really loved my "old phone" really did. This is the same brand, but like the reviews say, this is a CAMERA with a phone in it! ;) Just what I need. Don't get me wrong I ADORE My Nikon D40 but the girl is BIG and its hard to just carry everywhere. Sometimes your just out and about and want to snap a pic, and sure cellphone pictures are okay and all, but THIS ONE has a flash, and 8.1mp! WOOT!  It also still has the features I loved about my "old phone" It has the music player, and even a place to put Ebooks. It is also a Sony Ericsson which I have had a very good service relationship with! So I am happy. Look out world of Clorie posting pictures... I am armed and DANGEROUS!
