Kids are so cute!

When they are sleeping!! I went into the girl's bedroom this morning to put something away, and Hannah looked so sweet, and tiny, curled up all tucked in in her big bed... I kissed her and was tempted to just wake her up and squish her... But I know what happens when they are awake :OP

Today has been a productive day thus far. I got up, took the kitteh to the vet to get his "man hood" removed from him. We do not need anymore unwanted kittens in this world and I feel like a very responsible pet owner to have him done, and all of our other pets as well. Enough tooting of my own horn though.

After that I had to take Promise to the orthodontist, she got her separators put in, to make room for the soon to be placed expander. Woot! She did really well. I guess they had to make molds of her teeth and that was "yucky" because the rubbery stuff tasted bad :OP

So after that I rushed to work (but did not speed) and did my stuff there, the soda machine was out, so that made for a fun, and exhilarating day... NOT. The boss is off tomorrow, so I will be with "the blond one" Yip yip yipeeeee! See me jumping for joy? Last week she laid into me because apparently I forgot to wipe off 2 tables before leaving...  OH HEAVENS NO!!! Do you know how many times, after she has closed I have come in to like 5 or 6  tables dirty, sometimes with DISHES still on them, floors unswept.... Need I go on? So what, I forgot to wipe 3 tables down. Get over it. Not even worth mentioning really in the grand scheme of all.... whatever.

So after work, home, and then time to go get our now ball less, snowball :OP He's happy to be home. Sleepy, had him a snack and drinks of water, and has been sleeping since. I must admit he is walking with a bit of a limp... I would probably be doing the same :OP Poor kitty!

Once home I had to come up with something to make for dinner. Something that was not frozen. HA! I made up a lasagna with cheese filled ravioli, home made spaghetti sauce, zucchini shredded up and 3 different types of cheeses I had on hand in the fridge! MMMM. I made up some ranch dressing and we have lettuce (we will call it salad) and then garlic bread. Yummay!

So what will I do with the rest of my night? Deal with my very crabby for some reason 13 year old, clean up after dinner and I am thinking we all need to play a game or something. I still have yet to work out. Hopefully sometime after dinner. Oh, I did take a walk with Miss Hannah (who was still cute even after waking) and we looked and collected pretty leaves, they are pressing in a big Bible right now and we will come up with some clever craft to do with them later. Because I am crafty Clorie... Heck I might even have to start a new blog :OP

Anyway, there was a look for you, of inside my day today. Fun filled right?!

Its not always 50/50

Sometimes one person has to hold up more weight than the other does. Lately I feel as though I am that person holding the extra weight. Lately I have been wishing I was not that person. I feel like I am being spread a bit too thin... I also feel like no matter how many times I try to explain myself, it does not matter.  So I will just keep waiting, and hopefully eventually someone will come and take a few books off of my stack. Take a load off. Help me out. Chip in. You get it? I am sure you do. Now if only other people did as well.  God doesnt give you more than you can handle. I wonder sometimes if He thinks the load he's giving me is being more evenly distributed than it is... Maybe he can review my case :)

8 years at the same job!

I will say this about my work. No matter what is said, word gets around. Words also get twisted and changed, and rumors fly like well I don't know kites? I think co-workers are like a second family, not like to the point where you want to invite them over for Thanksgiving dinner... More like your around them enough that you are more than likely to have seen a bad side of them, and learned some annoyances. Chances are they were grumpy or depressed or pissed at some point and you have seen them at their worst. I think that makes it easier to get under each others skin and become annoyed. You get annoyed, you get over it, you move on. Your still co workers and you still get through. Like family, there are spats, you get over it move on and after it all your still family.  So do I always love my co workers or getting up early, or when someone is rude to me, or when I don't make any money... OF COURSE NOT. I have good days and I have bad days. Today it was raining, I would have ...

Done Growing

Well soon enough it will be the start of a new school year. Sooner for my younger two, than for my older two. So today we went to get a few things that will be needed. Some shoes, socks and backpacks. Mommy needed a new pair of shoes too, I wear mine out pretty quickly being on my feet as a waitress.  So my son is about the pickiest shoe person out there. Nothing fits. We have to try on like every.single.shoe. in his size before he can choose. Its irritating and stressful. Hannah was pretty easy although she did not take the cheaper "on sale" pair I liked best. Either way she was quick and painless.  So then mom's turn. I put on a pair of 6.5 I wear those or 7's depending on the shoe. I wanted to try those new shoes with the curved bottom. Anyway... I get the 6.5 on and Hannah feels for my toes. "Oh you better get a size bigger" She says. "Those wont last the whole school year!" I told her I did not have to worry about outgrowing my shoes. My ...
